Annual Charity & Event Information

The Chillin ‘n Swillin, Inc. beer festival committee continues to work strictly on a volunteer basis; no one receives any pay, which means there are no administrative costs. We hold the necessary 501 (c) (3) non-profit status as designated by the IRS and 100% of our profits stay locally to benefit the community of Lake Havasu City.

Our First Year – 2005

Over $3,500 was donated to benefit Hospice of Havasu and the American Red Cross. We had 12 beer vendors and over 400 attendees.

2nd Annual – 2006

Close to $12,000 was donated to benefit Lake Havasu United Way and the Child Enrichment Fund which helps pay for after school and summer programs for school age children through Lake Havasu City’s Parks and Recreation. We had 18 beer vendors and over 900 attendees.

3rd Annual – 2007

Just under $16,000 was donated to benefit New Horizons, which houses and cares for mentally and physically handicapped adults, and the Child Enrichment Fund. There were 22 beer vendors and approximately 1,100 attendees.

4th Annual - 2008

Nearly $20,000 was donated to benefit Lake Havasu Boy Scouts, the Lake Havasu City Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund, Havasu Stingrays, which is a local kids’ swim team, and College for Kids which provides fun, educational classes during the summer for Kindergarten through 8th grade children at Mohave Community College.

5th Annual – 2009

Over $21,000 was donated to benefit Lake Havasu High School Dream Track (K-12 Foundation), the Lake Havasu City Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund, the Havasu Stingrays swim team, and Lake Havasu Boy Scouts.

6th Annual – 2010 This year our proceeds will benefit: Meals on Wheels, Lake Havasu City Parks & Recreation Scholarship Funs, Lake Havasu Girls’ Softball, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and K-12 Foundation for school sports.
